Vintage Art Deco

Architectural furniture showcasing classic Art Deco style. Vertical lines and setbacks achieved via 1in x 2in x .095in and 1.5in x 2in x .125in  HSS steel components, coupled to a 5/4 finished Dark Walnut and Bocote exotic wood top. Steel to steel joints are precision TIG brazed using Copper Silicon filler and powdercoated in matte Brown Bronze. The wooden top is “floating” within the steel framing and finished in hand-rubbed Danish Oil with a overlay protection of micro-crystalline wax for long-term protection. 

 

Furniture dimensions are 30in wide by 72in long by 30in high, at a solid weight of 155 lbs. Modeled in SolidWorks parametric modeling software for design optimization, configuration control, and layout efficiency throughout the fabrication phases.
