Industrial Modern Desk

Architectural furniture combining CNC laser cut 1/4in thick steel sides integrated to 3” HSS steel tubing. The frame consists of 2in square tubing, affixed to the sides with custom made 1/4in thick, heavy-duty brackets that were plasma cut and welded. All steel connections are precision TIG brazed using Copper Silicon filler and mechanically affixed  with BlackOxide SHCS fasteners. The 4/4 thick top joins Dark Walnut to Bocote exotic wood to create a beautiful “floating” contemporary look. All steel is hand-patinaed in BlackOxide finish and then surfaced with micro-crystalline wax for protection and a semi-distressed finish. 

 

Furniture dimensions are 30in wide by 72in long by 30in high, at a weight of 275 lbs. Recessed leveling feet on base accommodate a variety of floor surfaces. Includes Arclight Designs serialized, laser engraved, Titanium badge.
